Gosh Darn Diddly, I went for a slightly different look this week with the comic – by different I mean hopefully cooler. With a bit more of the black and white and grey contrasts going on.
On a different note (and I can say this because my love doesn’t read my comic..) my love has renewed his obsession with Kung Fu movies. Which would be fine if he didn’t want to watch movies three or four times a week. This is where we have differences, movies I really enjoy are usually funny and nine times out of ten don’t have subtitles. Subtitles annoy me because I always miss something funny (which is the bit I like) while I’m trying to figure out what they’re all talking about.
It’s just an issue I have.. personally.. that’s not saying there’s a lot of really well done and exciting Kung Fu movies, it’s more saying I should probably learn to speak the language so I stop missing all the good bits.

OH and I’ve officially seen a draft of the article the Council will be running in their newsletter about the Waitakere Library Make A Manga competition that I designed some posters and advertising for. I actually get quoted in this article… I never in my life thought someone would seriously quote me. I am honored.
Liking the inclusion of the boxes ‘n’ walls. Makes the comic seem more complete. Also liking the way Tiger’s tail curls in panel 3.
