Hey all!
First of all thanks for those of you who popped out to visit me at the Waitakere Library ‘Make a Manga’ launch, if you didn’t come and you want to enter click over here and check out the details. (Plus if you wanted to see the posters I did, there’s some pictures up there too)
So the talk went pretty well, all the kids there were really keen to get working on their comics and some of them had already started. There was even a turn out from some primary school kids who weren’t even old enough to enter yet but were looking forward to it so much they came along anyway. It’s great to see such enthusiasm coming through!
Looking back now I wish I thought to take a photo to post up here for you guys but I didn’t even think of it! Someone remind me next time. I might have to pop down to the library in the near future and get photos of my posters and other things up around the place to post here or atleast over in the art section.
Anyway – on a completely different note, I’m uber glad Roscoe and Tiger made it to the final round! Even if they are ridiculously late. I hope they can pull something off!
