An update! On time! How Wonderful!!

Hi guys, lets kick off a new week in good W!R fashion, I have a story to tell… about an adventure, it happened last night, it was extreme.

So what happened was me and my good ol’ buddy Fletch decided to catch up over dinner. I went over and picked her up from her place and then we decided to go up market and be classy, we picked out a highly regarded restaurant called Delicious and headed over – the only issue being we didn’t REALLY know where it was. Fletch seemed to think it was in Grey Lynn so that’s where we went, but she admitted she was lost when we went down a quiet old person street with lots of speed bumps to preventing hooning. From there I took charge and decided to try and head towards some lights off in the distance, we took a bit of a detour down some tiny streets that we decided looking remarkably like Denmark and then pulled out onto a main road – and there it was. Delicious right in front of us. Only problem? It wasn’t even open..

So we had to head off again, driving in some direction hoping to find a bit of food. There were unsign posted one way streets, there was rain and there was excitement. But after quite some time we discovered a nice pizza place called GPK and it was there that we settled in for a feast and a break for our adventure (I do recommend going! The food was increeeeeeedible and they give you doggy bags =] ).

But once we had feasted it was time to try and find our way home… We ended up heading in the wrong direction stuck on a one way street, that went UNDER the harbour bridge through a construction zone, then managed to find the way home via Sky City. It was extreme. I do recommend trying a blind adventure like that sometime. =]
