I have a confession to make.
Today I was sold a fireman calendar.
You see, there were two firemen standing outside the supermarket, and of course, I smiled. Who wouldn’t smile at a fireman.
But then on my way out this fireman approached me which what looked like a book, so here I was thinking ‘DING’ what a brilliant christmas present for a certain friend thinking about becoming a fireman. A book all about firemen!
Before I realised it wasn’t a book, I was holding a calendar filled with uniformed muscular fire fighting super heroes. Also supporting the child cancer charity and volunteer fire services. For a mere $10 how could I say no?
I’m not upset or regretting the purchase of this particular fireman calendar. I’m just a little embarrased that I’m now one of ‘those’ people who have one…
Though, it is a lovely calendar. =]
