Hey  if you got an intergalactic present of brussel sprouts I doubt you’d be very happy either.

I wrapped my first Christmas present this week, purely because my brother was coming round and it was sitting out on the table for all to see. I’ve discovered I lack some skillings, specifically those involving the wrapping of gifts. I cut the paper crooked and then get it all wrinkled, and nine times out of ten I get the tape all stuck together. It’s pretty much a disaster.

Kind of got me wondering though, those gift wrapping booths at the mall…they consistently do an excellent job. When applying for a job as a Christmas present wrapper do you need prior wrapping experience? Do you have to complete a set of wrappings for all sorts of tricky shapes to prove your skill? Or do you get training from certain small and festively dressed people who specialize in such things?
