GOSH it’s going flat out until Christmas isn’t it!
Now all of a sudden I understand why these working class folk find it stressful having to get out and do Christmas shopping! I’m resorting to speed shopping in little half hour patches in my lunch break. Don’t know if it’s a good approach or not but I seem to be halving my shopping list every time – which can’t be a bad thing…as long as I’m not halving my bank balance too.
The days are heating up too, we had a power cut for almost two hours at work this morning and geez does it get hot in a windowless office with no air conditioning! Had to resort to loitering in door ways to try and get a breeze happening. Needless to say that didn’t help.
Though I am excited, there shall be many more beach trips in the coming weeks – I can’t wait. Bring it on!
