OH THE SUMMER!
It’s a beautiful day, and I’ve just spent the entire morning working on the next few installments of Woah! Roscoe. Why? Because I’m going camping! (and of course don’t want you to miss out on Woah! while I’m gone)
Where am I camping? Whitianga! And it doesn’t even come with weather warnings for the new years break – unlike some campgrounds around the country. After a few days living on Christmas BBQ leftovers, camping is a welcome change.
I’ve got a bit of packing to do, better make myself a list. I’m notorious for forgetting important things…like shoes. The trip to Cambridge on Monday did not involve shoes. I felt rather disrespectful visiting resthomes with no shoes. Needless to say, I got myself a few sideways looks. It wasn’t like it was intentional though, I just got in the car and started driving and a few hours later realised my feet were bare.
Well, I won’t let it happen this time around. Shoes will be the first thing I pack!
