How have you been? How was your week? Busy? Cold? Fabulous?
Mine has certainly been busy, lots of headless chicken impersonations. At least we’ve made it through to Friday! And Friday, means dancing! (Well I did dance last night, but that’s irrelevant..)
I also had a burger last night, a huge one, the size of my face, and it was amazingly delicious, and I hardly got any on my face. It was from this secret little place out in Remuera (it’s not secret I suppose, I bet half of town knows it’s there, but I don’t live there, so to me twas a secret….and I wasn’t exagerrating about it being little, twas tiny) called Charcoal Burger. They do kebabs too and chippies and have quite awesome blackboard menu art.
Actually, I saw a few secret places out there in sneaky Remuera. There was an AWESOME bakery that sold pretty much everything with the utmost of deliciousness – including lemon merangue pies. I love love love lemon merangue pies. I made one a while back. But MAN it was an effort and a half. Must get around to making another because it was certainly worth it.
But not today, it’s still Friday, and I’ve still got to make it to the weekend. Not long to go thank god, and atleast I get to wear jeans for this casual Friday thing. Weekend ahoy!
Oh, and I saw a cat. =]
