Today I started a new initiative, I don’t know if that’s the right word. More like personal goal.

I want to start drinking one bottle of water at least – every day. I’ve tried this a thousand times and every single time I have given up somewhere along the way and returned to my pre-goal habits of drinking a glass or two a week. Not good enough guys.

But today (being my first day of this ambitious endeavor) I discovered there seems to be quite a strong connection between my food and water intake. Now logically, you would think the more water you drink, the more you will feel full, the less you will want to eat, thus the less you will eat. Not The Case. I became ravenously hungry, I ate more than usual and still found myself feeling almost naucious with hunger before dinner was ready. Why? I don’t know. But I do know I’m going to need to pack a bit more food tomorrow.

The other arguement for drinking more water is you will be better hydrated and therefore function to a higher level and be more productive. Also not the case. The more water I drank, the more time I spent in the bathroom, the less time I spent working, the less productive I was.

Somehow I’m not sure that this goal is the best for me…
