I watched the Rugby World Cup opening ceremony and Tonga v NZ game on Friday night.
Little New Zealand, you have done us proud. The waka coming into the harbour, the incredible light show on the Eden Park field, the twenty minute fireworks display lighting up our city as musicians from our different cultures worked in harmony from around the town, on top of buildings and on stages, the dancers absailing down buildings and then the most passionate haka from our All Blacks.
Thank you New Zealand, you do know how to throw a party.
