Heya guys,

Welcome to Wednesday, your midweek wonder! I’m glad we’ve come this far, and together, I hope we can make it through to the end of the week and come out with the weekend clearly in our grasp.

I went dancing the other night (oh ’cause that ain’t unusual) and it was raining like nobodys business. It was time to go home and the rain intensified, just to make it that little bit harder to get to the car dry. My planned course of action was popping up the hood on my jacket and bolting down the dark alley way to my car. This was going to be a very soggy not so enjoyable journey UNTIL Fantastic Alan! apppeared with a handy umbrella and an offer of a ride. It was awesome. I was pretty much dry by the time I got in my car.

But it got me thinking about umbrellas, and how occasionally they are just so sensible….and how I totally don’t have one.

You know what I think it is…some kind of rebellion, on a very small non-impactual (is that a word?!) scale. You know everyone’s got to make a stand for something, someones got to take a stand against umbrellas. Well to be honest I’m not doing a great job of it, considering I made use of the umbrellas services and am now grateful to it. Maybe why I’m telling you this because there’s a moral to this story. Maybe you need to really chose what to take a stand over, what is really worth it. Don’t hate on something just because. Give things a chance to impress you. You never know I could be the next umbrella-y goodness spokeswoman!
