Good morning Woah! readers,

How was your weekend? Was it full of fabulous? Did you let off fireworks and prance around waving sparklers?

I did that. I was really tired because I’ve been working too hard but it was insisted I prance with a sparkler. So I did. Can’t be letting the team down you know. Did you have a fireworks box? Was it amazing? Me and my brother watched fireworks from the top of the back steps, great spot for it, we could see over the fences into the neighbours back yards. That means double the fireworky visuals for us!

I also went out for dinner last night to a cool Indian place. We didn’t know what to eat and the uber hungry feasting time was upon us so we ordered a ‘Banquet’. Is that not so fancy? It was fancy. We got a sizzling platter of samosas, onion bhaji, chicken tikka and some kind of kofta I think. Then rice and four curries and naans. Endless. And I mean endless. It was an all you can eat banquet. It was quite delicious.

I think life should have more banquets, just in general, for everyone. We don’t have big castle halls to feast in like they used to, back in the good ol’ days, before all this fast food happened and people got lazy.

Not saying fast food is always a bad thing, there’s certainly a place for it in life. Like when you’re driving home at a ridiculously late hour because they decided to close ALL the roads that take you back to your house, and you’re really tired and hungry and need a little sustenance to make it home to bed. That is the time for a sneaky drive-through.

I was having a full on day on the weekend and knew I’d been needing some sneaky sustenance, I also knew that I didn’t really want to drive-through up the town, so I  came prepared. On the way out the door I yoinked a muesli bar from the cupboard with the best of intentions. Now I don’t know what happened to it but when the hunger struck it was nowhere to be seen. I still haven’t found it and I’m starting to wonder if I haven’t shaken off those keyhole ninjas yet. Very suspicious.

But all this talk has made me rather exceptionally hungry. I think it may be time for a breakfasty snack (of the non-drive-through variety).
