An update, on a Sunday? Who does that?!
I do! Because while you are all out there having a holiday and enjoying this beautiful long weekend, I am here, preparing for your return. Making sure that when you get home from your camping trip or exhausting luxurious break and pop yourself down on that old familiar couch, you have something to look at.
Also, if I hadn’t updated today that’d mean only ONE update for you this week, and seriously, I couldn’t bring myself to let you down like that. That’s just a bit too deprivatory.
You know what else is going on this long weekend? I’m STILL enjoying strawberries I personally picked all that time ago. They’re in the freezer now becuase obviously they wouldn’t last this long otherwise. But it’s absolutely delicious for a hot day like today, to just meander over to the freezer and pop a strawberry into your mouth… nom nom nom.
I had so many baking plans for the weekend.
I had plans to make strawberry shortcake. And cookies. So far, it hasn’t happened. So far, I’ve been a little bit busy. So far, I’m quite relieved there’s no workies on Monday, and time may be found then for wonderful baked goods.
