Why hello there.
I feel like it’s been a while and we’ve got things to catch up on. You see I’ve grown a little. I’ve gotten bigger (not vertically..but in age!).
It’s been a big week, a long week, it’s the end of the week now, so I feel like it’s a good time to recap for you. This thing called my 21st happened. I completed all of the items on my pre 21 to-do list, JUST in time with some last minute foreign phrase reciting.
I took cake into work and it was SO delicious all the staff were forced to sign a card for me and I got a hefty pair of shopping and massage vouchers from management. I spent Wednesday evening catching up with a wonderful friend who bought my the most beautiful ring (I seriously look like a princess, on one hand), and helped me make some tasty tasty chocolate mousse.
I went dancing on Thursday and was faced with another THREE cakes and was even serenaded by my wonderful dancey friends with a decent rendition of Happy Birthday. Then onto the Friday night birthday party which was absolutely lovely. I am SOOOO lucky to have such a wonderful bunch of friends and family.
My super talented cousin and my mummie put together a beautiful cake. I did lots of dancing and was completely honored and flattered by the speeches. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a wonderful night.
Now I do a lot of resting and sleeping and think about booking in that massage voucher. I feel like I’ve stepped into another bracket of my life and it’s going to be brilliant. I’m just getting warmed up…
