So this is an ever so slightly late birthday tribute type comic thing, for my brilliant brother with a rather large humor gland. This is based on a very real conversation had with him back when I started my working life and discovered I was sharing an office with a hairy scary creepy crawly.
Now that I’ve finally got this up and finished I’m permitted a bowl of dessert! And a sit down in front of the box to watch a little bit of ‘How to Train your Dragon’ which is – might I add – a brilliantly done movie. I love the art, the animations, the characters and their designs. I love the way the scenes are staged, I could watch it over and over and study all the brilliance. If I had the time.
There are so many movies out there that need watching, but finding the time is a challenge! I watched the end of The Social Network the other day and then rewatched Alice in Wonderland (the Depp version) last night. Which was also very well done, but doesn’t seem to hold the same charm for me as the Dragons.
Though the movie Up still reigns supreme.
Any other animated recommendations? I’m open to suggestion. I may make another list…another list of things to watch rather than things to do.

I highly recommend Tangled. The joy of having kids is a good excuse to watch animated movies.
