Woah! Roscoe

Hey stranger.

Long time no see.

Sorry about that I really am. These things have been happening and I’ve been totally enjoying them and being paid a decent wage for most of them too. I wish I could get paid for doing W!R then I’d feel like I could prioritise it up there with my paid work. But alas, until I’m super uber famous or something similar I need to earn the monies and save up for my European Escapade!

Next Saturday is the Kapiti-Hutt Ceroc Champs and it’ll be the first time me and the fantastic dance partner have ever competed together. So we’re getting in as much practise as we can this weekend. Also, I’ve taken on another couple teaching them a dance for their wedding. I must say it’s super enjoyable, I love teaching couples who are all excited to get married, it’s the most positive experience.

What else have I been doing? Well.

My oldest sister has had another cutie little daughter – congrats! The horticultural house mates and I have created tomato relish from the abundant crop out in the garden (which may I add absolutely inspired the doodle above.) In the process of this I discovered my new favourite kitchen utensil, a pasta spoon!! They are ideal. And would absolutely be the best spoon to have on your side in an egg and spoon race, seriously bro.

It was used to ferry tomatos into boiling water for skinning. That sounds rather morbid, and I suppose it was – but in the most fantastic way!

Also I’m going to make cupcakes this afternoon OH and last night had a 21st party and I even painted my nails (now that’s commitment). Sadly, all of this busy stuff going on and with work being crazy hectic and all that, I feel like I’ve been missing out on my time with you and Woah! Roscoe. There are friends I’ve barely spoken to (especially now that everyone’s back into the thick of uni life).

It’ll be a little bit of a relief when next weekend is behind me (and hopefully there is another trophy in my collection, it could happen right?) and I can find the time to catch up on drawing and chatting and seeing family.
